AMC BARITE™ is a high quality barium sulphate (BaSO4) micronized to meet API 13A specifications and is used to increase mud density in all types of drilling fluid systems, oil or water based.
AMC BARITE™ is chemically inert to all drilling fluids additives and is used to increase the density of any drilling fluid system. AMC BARITE™ is added to a mud system to help control formation pressures, stabilise the borehole or used in kill fluids.
AMC BARITE™ is added through a mud hopper or suitable shearing device. The amount of AMC BARITE™ required to increase the fluid density can be calculated using the following formulas:
AMC BARITE, kg / m³ = 4200 (w2 – w1) / 4.2 – w2
w1 = Initial mud weight in specific gravity
w2 = Desired mud weight in specific gravity
Appearance: Tan powder
Specific Gravity: 4.2

AMC BORDET™ is a concentrated blend of surfactants which are highly effective at coating metal surfaces. AMC BORDET™ is designed to reduce the surface tension in water based fluids and reduce the tendency of clays to stick to metal surfaces including the drill string.
AMC 206™ is a rapidly yielding, high molecular weight polymer in liquid form that provides viscosity without the problems associated with mixing powdered polymers. AMC 206™ will help improve core recovery, particularly in clays and shales and highly fractured formations. It provides cuttings encapsulation as well as helping to stabilise the formation.
AMC 1300™ is a liquid non-ionic polymer specifically designed to perform in fresh water, saline environments and calcium chloride brines. AMC 1300™ will provide viscosity while also providing some lubrication to the drilling fluid resulting in improved hole stability and core recovery in broken, friable formations.
