AMC GLYCOL (HCP)™ is a low toxic, versatile, high cloud point additive designed for medium to high salinity water level systems and can be used in wells with moderate formation temperature. It can provide improved well bore stability, lubricity, high temperature filtration control and reduce dilution rates and bit balling. In a nondispersed polymer system, AMC GLYCOL (HCP)™ is most effective when used in conjunction with inhibitive salts such as KCl.
AMC GLYCOL (LCP) is a versatile, low cloud point glycol, designed specifically for fresh to medium salinity polyglycol systems. The primary function of the glycol is shale inhibition as it inhibits swelling shales and clays by adsorbing onto clay surfaces. It also helps to improve well bore stability, lubricity and high temperature filtration control, in addition to reducing dilution rates and bit balling. While polyglycols can be used as additives in most water based fluids they are most effective when used in combination with salts as part of a non dispersed polymer fluid.
